GenTegra Launches new GenTegra RNAssure™ for immediate protection of RNA following purification

Pleasanton, Calif. – As soon as RNA is purified and eluted from the column or removed from the magnetic beads any trace of RNase contamination will begin to degrade the RNA. GenTegra RNAssure is designed to replace the final collection tube in either purification method and immediately begin protecting the purified RNA. Not only immediate protection but RNAssure also provides protection for up to 4-days at room temperature. Protected in RNAssure the sample is no longer tied to an ice bucket during father time on the bench.

Additionally, when time comes to send the RNA sample off for RNAseq RNAssure allows for shipping on dry ice or following drying to be shipped at ambient temperatures with full protection. RNAssure is provided in a green flip top tube which makes it easily identifiable in the laboratory protocol. RNAssure is also purification kit agnostic. RNAssure can be used with virtually every RNA purification kit being sold.

The GenTegra RNAssure is available for immediate shipment in packages of 50 individual tubes. Sample test kits of three RNAssure tubes are available for evaluation. RNAssure is also available in PCR microplates and other formats.
